Enfield Village School's new outdoor classroom was completed last week, with a roof and donated benches. The Kindergarten class was among the first to try it out.

ENFIELD — Superintendent Amanda Isabelle and Principal Jamie Winny are pleased to announce that Enfield Village School has been named as one of the top elementary schools in the state by U.S. News and World Report.

Enfield Village School was ranked 13th out of 211 elementary schools in the state. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare their students for high school. The school received an overall score of 94.29 out of 100, based on U.S. News's methodology.

Faculty and staff have invested significantly in improving early literacy skills. Students are participating in a WIN (What I Need) block each day to receive targeted reading instruction. Teachers also take part in the LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), available through a partnership between the New Hampshire Department of Education and Lexia, to provide a deep knowledge of literacy and language expertise in the science of reading.

In 2022, Enfield Village School was named a national Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.

"Congratulations to all of the staff, faculty, and members of our school community on this well-deserved designation," said Superintendent Isabelle. "Their passion for the community and commitment toward their careers make this honor possible. The community is extremely grateful for their dedication."
